Poinciana Beautiful is a year round contest that began in 2016. APV management wanted to find a way to recognize homeowners and residents that took pride in their homes and, in turn, in their community.  It was decided to make and take nominations for well cared for homes in Poinciana. The Association of Poinciana Villages would then have independent judges choose one home from each village to hold the title of the Poinciana Beautiful Home of the Year.

From the very beginning this competition was a huge success. We saw that violations dropped significantly in the first year, as residents' eagerness to win the Home of the Year title caused them to take extra care in their landscaping and general property maintenance.

Throughout the year, The Community Service Department Officers nominate homes they feel are deserving of this honor. In addition, homeowners and residents are able to nominate themselves or any home they feel is Poinciana Beautiful.

Nominations are accepted all year long by emailing trish.moore@fsresidential.com with the information on any home that is admired ... even your own.

The competition runs until early January when the winners are recognized and awarded  at a grand, upscale gala celebration complete with wonderful food, beverages and live entertainment. This event is typically held on the last Saturday of January.
